Recipe

1. Begin by preparing the cauliflower. Peel off the leaves and cut around the core until the florets fall off. Trim any larger florets to match the size of the smaller ones for even cooking. Rinse the florets well in a colander.

2. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

3. In a bowl, combine the ingredients for the batter until well mixed.

4. Coat as many cauliflower florets as will fit in a single layer in your air fryer basket. For a 4-quart air fryer, this may need to be done in 2 batches.

5. Spray the bottom of the air fryer basket with oil to prevent sticking. Arrange the coated florets in the basket, ensuring they are evenly spaced and any excess batter has dripped off. Spray the top of the cauliflower lightly with oil.

6. Insert the basket into the air fryer and set the timer for 16 minutes.

7. While the first batch is cooking, prepare the sauce by combining the ingredients. Set the sauce aside for later warming.

8. Once the first batch is done, carefully transfer it to a plate using a fork to loosen any cauliflower stuck to the bottom of the basket. Coat the next batch of cauliflower in the batter.

9. Spray the bottom of the air fryer basket again with oil and arrange the second batch of cauliflower in the basket. Spray the top with oil.

10. Once the second batch is done, heat the sauce in a microwave for 45 seconds. Stir the sauce thoroughly.

11. Transfer all the cooked cauliflower to a large mixing bowl. Pour the warm sauce over the cauliflower and toss gently to coat evenly.

12. Return all of the cauliflower to the air fryer basket and cook for an additional 10 minutes.

13. Once done, remove the cauliflower from the air fryer and serve immediately.

14. Enjoy your delicious air-fried vegan buffalo cauliflower!
