Vegan Garlic and Chive Compound Butter

Makes a 6 inch log of butter

Ingredients

3/4 cup vegan butter
2 cloves minced garlic
Pinch of salt
1/4 cup fresh chopped chives

Recipe

1. Soften the butter by letting it sit at room temperature. It just needs to be softened enough that it can be stirred. 

2. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix together with a spoon.

3. On a sheet of plastic wrap, place the butter mixture in the center. Spread it out to a rectangle that's about 6x3 inches. Use the plastic wrap to help form it into a log. Roll it in the plastic wrap until it is evenly dispersed. 

4. Place in the fridge for a minimum of 1-2 hours until it is hardened.

Notes

*If you are using a salted butter, do not add salt. Your favourite vegan butter will work in this recipe. I use Becel.
